AWL India Celebrates 15 Years of Establishment and Thriving in the Logistics Industry

The logistics company with a remarkable track record and contribution to the Indian logistics and supply chain sector, AWL India, is celebrating its 15th anniversary. For 15 glorious years and counting, AWL India has always and will continue to serve businesses and ease out the flow of goods across the nation and even cross-borders.

AWL India has certainly come a long way with its cutting-edge services dedicated to enhancing logistics and supply chain management across more than 1700 locations. Established in the year 2007, AWL India is now a leading and reputed name in the goods transportation and supply chain industry with over 70.11 million miles covered.

The company now will be oriented toward achieving Vision 2030 with the incorporation of Industry 4.0 standards and tech implementations.

The CEO of AWL India, Mr. Rahul Mehra, recently released a statement addressing where the company is headed after the successful completion of 15 years, that said:

“Though it’s the time for every individual associated with AWL India, every single person who put his trust in the company’s vision, to celebrate and cheer, we must not deviate from our path. It’s the time we have to use as an ignition to boost our confidence, motivation, and dedication levels. The 15th Year Anniversary of AWL India should play a vital role in attaining even greater heights, covering more miles, establishing warehousing resources in more countries, and bringing a revolution in the industry with the incorporation of the latest technological advancements.”

India is undoubtedly one of the biggest markets to cover and ensure optimized order fulfillment. This is a country where development is an ongoing process and will be continued for a prolonged period of time due to the fact that the country itself has huge potential. Since the onset of the year 2017, the Indian logistics sector has been growing at a rate of 10.5% CAGR, making it one of the fastest evolving industries.

The logistics and supply chain management did face a significant backlash at the time of the COVID-driven lockdown. The multiple national lockdowns imposed by the government slowed down and even temporarily halted the flow of raw materials and finished goods accelerated by the disruption of manufacturing as a result. We surely did encounter the vulnerabilities and challenges that existed in the supply chain that got heightened due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Amidst the rising challenges in the sector and increasing demand, AWL India emerged as a superhero and helped India fight COVID with its tech-enabled solutions and vast network spread across warehouses at strategic locations. AWL India facilitated the supply of vaccines in India through their Vaclogix program, which was providing integrated cold chain management solutions for temperature-controlled life-saving pharma products. COVID-19 gave AWL India an opportunity to serve the country with its range of services dedicated to the betterment of people.

Adding further to his statement, Rituraj Pankaj, the CIO of AWL India, emphasized the role of technology in the future of the logistics and supply chain sector and said:

“These 15 years were driven by labor and hard work, the coming 15 will be spearheaded by technology, ranging from software development, data, and analytics, to IoT enabled systems, data integration, and cybersecurity. AWL India understands the crucial role of tech in the sector, and thus, is already on a path to align all the services with the latest technologies.”

AWL India is headed in a direction, for which the completion of these 15 grandiose years, serves as a base, and fuel for further growth and expansion. The company is ready for whatever the future holds for the logistics and supply chain industry and so is its team.
